77 Prints bio picture

So you want to know about me?

Let's start with the basics: my name is Clare and I live in Dallas. Here are a few random facts that might help you understand who I am...

- Received my BA in Art from Rhodes College but begged them to say "Art History" for my parents' benefit when I graduated. No dice.

- Wrote my senior thesis on this painting during my junior year while everyone else was in Florida on Spring Break. 11 years later and I'm still bitter.

- Interned at a small gallery where I was privileged enough to have works by Ansel Adams, Dorothea Lange, Walker Evans and Lewis Hine at my fingertips. Got valuable first hand experience on how to deal with a certain shipping service when they destroyed a rare painting in transit to another gallery.

- Would give anything for the chance to be a concert photographer for a summer or twelve.

 Now Booking For Fall 2010! Please contact me to reserve your spot today!

77 Prints will be closed from November 30th, 2010 - January 16th, 2011.

{ jack }

Despite temperatures reaching (and crossing) the century mark regularly these days, we were able to sit in the yard for a few minutes with baby Jack today which was so nice. The rest of the session we hopped around from front window to bedroom to den catching the morning light from the comfort of the...

{ tallulah & cadence }

Another set of twins today! I have to give it to Tallulah and Cadence, they could not have been better models – I’m thrilled to finally have a photo of twins where both are a) looking at the camera and b) smiling! And these sweet smiles more than made up for the yucky weather. We’ve...

This weekend while I was at the lake I had a mini-session with some dear friends’ children, Annie and Blake. These sessions are always so special for me, having known Mom and Dad long before either of these cuties was a twinkle in their eye! We had a couple of things working against us this...

{ blast from the past }

I haven’t really had a whole lot of jobs recently (good grief, it’s over 100 degrees these days, can you blame them?) so I thought I’d repost some older favorite photos. This was taken last November – Lauren is now not only walking but talking up a storm. Totally biased here, but she’s pretty much...

{ hailey and kate at one year }

It’s hard to believe we’ve gone from this:

to this in just a few months!

These girls have come a long way from those newborn days! They’re babbling and hamming it up and oh, they are this close to walking! It has been an absolute joy to watch them grow into beautiful little girls, each with their...

I have returned! After a very hectic May filled with 3 weddings and 4 trips, I am finally back home and somewhat caught up on work (and laundry). Definitely not sleep. Oh, and I had a birthday in there somewhere. Here are some photos from the past month.
Jodie and Spencer got married at the Arboretum

Taylor...

I just got home from a whirlwind trip to Chicago but I have to share these next two sessions before I go to bed. Now I have to come clean, I’m a teensy bit biased – but is this not the sweetest baby you’ve ever seen? Just two years ago I was traveling through Germany...

{ ewan }

While I was in Chicago this weekend, I had the good fortune of photographing not one, but two sweet babies – meet Ewan! He was giving us his serious look when we first started, but by the end he couldn’t hide that smile! How gorgeous are these blue eyes? I just love how the catchlights...

{ hailey & kate, redux }

I met up with these sweet girls again to see if we could get a few more shots of them since our last session was not quite as long as we needed and the bright sun was almost too much of a good thing! It was a gorgeous sunny day in Dallas, but this time...
