Normally I would have more of a write up for a post like this, but I’m SO tired and my brain is just not able to come up with the proper words to describe the last week. So I’ll let the photos do the talking. Here are some shots from my wonderful vacation to the Big Island of Hawaii this week – specifically the Kohala Coast and Kona areas. My plan to chain myself to a pool chair in order to avoid leaving yesterday did not work. I guess that means I’ll have to go back!
Most of the close-up detail/macro shots were taken with my rental lens (100mm f/2.8), the rest were either with my trusty 24-70mm, my 50mm or the 18-55mm.

These last three are nothing fancy, technically speaking, just long exposures. Around 3-5 seconds each, give or take.
