As I mentioned last week, Pierce just turned one! Lucky for him, his birthday falls in quite possibly the prettiest season of all. The Arboretum is just gorgeous in the Fall, and today was no exception! The pumpkins are still out in full force, so we stopped in the pumpkin patch first since the crowds were streaming in to stake their spots for family photos. After that we just sort of wandered around checking out the different nooks and crannies of the east gardens. There is so much to see, you really can’t do it all in one day, but we managed to find a few good spots. Pierce is *thisclose* to really walking steady, but he’s definitely standing and taking a few steps at a time. He’ll be motoring all over the place before you know it! He was in a great mood all morning and was such a good sport with all our walking and demands for smiles! He’s got such a cute little personality, I love it! He’s also saying “mama” and “dada” which is just the sweetest thing to hear. And as you can see, he has two little teeth! Not to sound like a broken record, but it really does seem like yesterday that I was taking his newborn photos just days after his arrival. Time just flies by while I stand still, snapping away!
